Concept: The Luxfloris floor lamp redefines the boundaries of earthen construction design by incorporating parametric modeling techniques and 3D printing technology. This integration expands formal possibilities and overcomes the limitations of traditional fabrication systems. The design draws inspiration from flowers with large, enveloping petals, creating an effect where the light source remains hidden and gently descends along the inner surfaces, highlighting the material qualities of earth. The organic form, developed through advanced modeling and digital manufacturing tools, gives the lamp a delicate character. The visible edges are shaped with the minimum thickness permitted by the material, while the walls gradually gain section toward the top, enhancing mechanical strength and balancing the overall weight to ensure stability.
